A very good friend of mine, Sue Slaght, created a cookbook of her famous recipes called: Cheese, Crackers and Coffee. We have talked may times about sharing these recipes over the years but never seem to get around to it. Then came Grillaz! What a perfect opportunity to introduce these great home cooking recipes right along side our home grilling recipes. 

To start with, unequivocally, Sue is one of the best cooks I’ve ever known. Her recipes were influenced by her love of the Baltimore area and the Chesapeake Bay in where she grew up. She has resided in the New England area for over 25 years and has traveled extensively over that time. Through her travel experiences and love of home cooked food, she has brought an added dimension to her cooking style. This is reflected in the Southern, Latin and Greek recipes that we will be sharing with you. Our hope is that these recipes will put a smile on the faces of your family and friends as they have ours.
